Bruce has spent the last 40 years working professionally in both the artistic and technical fields of theatre. He has worked as an actor, director, designer, and stage manager. He has been a member of the Actor’s Equity Association since 1997. He holds an MFA in Directing from The University of Houston where he had the privilege of being mentored by Edward Albee, Joe Quintero and Dr. Sidney Burger. Bruce has served as TPPA’s Donor Relations Manager since 2024. As TPPA’s Donor Relations Manager, Bruce helps cultivate, steward, and strengthen relationships with individual donors, sponsors, and other supporters. He assists with donor communications and recognition, fundraising outreach, and efforts to expand TPPA’s base of community support, helping build the relationships necessary to sustain and grow the organization’s inclusive performing arts programs.
